The required 100 hours can be completed as classroom instruction at the flight school. Two evenings per week with 3 hours or Saturday / Sunday depending on the course are planned. Alternatively, it is also possible to use a distance learning course with 10 hours of local instruction or another individual combination of both forms of instruction.
Practical training
The training takes place in 8 stages:
- With level 4 you can fly an airplane alone in the circuit area.
- With level 7 you achieve solo cross-country maturity after passing the theory test.
- In level 8, YOU will obtain the practical examination qualification.
At least 30 flying hours are required, which are divided as follows:
- 15 hours with flight instructor
- at least 6 hours of monitored solo
The practical training takes place on our tried and tested Bristell BR23.
Voice VFR
A radiotelephony authorization must be obtained for the safe and correct use of aviation radio.

Flying later
LAPL holders receive the class rating Single Engine Piston, SEP (land) with a maximum of 2000kg and a maximum of 3 passengers, which remains valid at all times. However, the rights as a pilot may only be exercised if at least 10 hours PIC can be proven after the examination. Within the last 24 months, at least 12 hours must have been flown as pilot in command and a training flight with a flight instructor must have taken place. Instrument flight training is not possible with an LAPL license. An LAPL license is only valid within EASA airspace.
