Theoretical training
In the VFR Voice course you will learn the basics of VFR radio communication in a theoretical part, how flight information and weather are exchanged via radio communication, everything about time information, frequencies and call signs, how messages are acknowledged and many abbreviations relating to radio vocabulary.
The course also teaches concepts relating to the airfield, such as how the circuit, approach and departure work and how to cross a CTR or TMA. In addition, the subject matter relating to the Swiss airspace structure is covered in depth.
Practical training
In a practical part, what you have learned is put into practice with many radio examples and the principle applies: practice makes perfect. The course prepares you so that you can successfully pass the table test to be taken at the FOCA and the authorization will be issued.
